Welcome

Witnessing the precious bond between a newborn and it’s mother, seeing a baby’s genuine expressions, and gazing at a child’s pensive stare…these are just a few things I love. Capturing all of life’s emotions is my goal. Every picture does not have to be of your child smiling into the camera, but the collection should represent the many facets of your child. For years to come, I want you to look back on these images and relive some of life’s most precious moments. Thank you for allowing me to turn my passion for photography into something more…something I can share with you.

Sweet and Sassy!

Siblings are always so much fun.  I love to see how they interact with one another and how they try to steal the show!  This pair were no different.  Oh, and it was obvious that someone has been watching America’s Next Top Model.  Miss C can really strike a pose and don’t you just want to pinch Mr. R’s cute little cheeks?  I can’t wait to capture these cuties again!

Happy New Year

We are getting back into the swing of things at JBP.  Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday season!  I know our family had plenty to be thankful for.

I wanted to let you know that January is booking fast, so call or email asap if you are still need a time this month or next.

A Horrible Tragedy…

Several weeks ago Amber, a dear friend of several of my clients, and her 3 beautiful kids were in a horrible car accident while heading back home from a birthday party in McKinney, TX.   Four year old Brett wasn’t able to fight through his injuries and passed away at 2:47 am Monday, December 8th.  Amber’s 8 year old son Andrew has a serious injury to his shin which required several surgeries to repair the damage.  He should be released from the hospital soon.  Thankfully, Amber and her 2 year old daughter, Danielle were not injured in the accident.

You can visit the family’s website here, and also read articles about the crash here and here.

The Burdick Family needs our help.  Amber’s husband Chris is a truck driver and does not earn money unless he is driving.  He will need to be home with his family for some time.

I wanted to post several ways that you can help this family in need.  GenMarie will be auctioning three, one of a kind pieces, on their blog located at www.genmarieboutique.blogspot.com Items can be bid on by posting a comment.  All the money earned will go directly to the Burdick family.  An account has also been set up at Wells Fargo.  You can go into any bank in the US and make a donation.

I can’t begin to understand the heartache this family is feeling right now.  I know this is a tight time of year for everyone.  Every little bit helps including your prayers that this family can make it through this holiday season and begin the healing process.

Out of the Office

I will be out of town during the week of Thanksgiving.  I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday, gets to spend lots of time with friends and family and don’t forget the feast!

So many pretty ladies

how can one man survive?  I just love to visit families again.  And it is even more fun when there are additions.  I can’t believe how much little M has grown and what a beautiful sister she has!  It looks like there are going to be plenty of boys hanging around this house in a few years!
